Hà Nội’s People’s Committee has announced a plan on reviewing and evaluating the demand for deploying a surveillance camera system, to best establish an overall plan for the system in the city.

An ambitious development plan to breathe new life into the West Lake area has been given the green light.

(VEN) - Recently, the leaders of Hanoi City have paid much attention to developing the transportation system, considering the development of a smart and sustainable transportation system as a global trend for all cities, including Hanoi.

(VEN) - According to the project adjusting the Capital’s general planning to 2045, with a vision to 2065, the area from the Vietnam National University-Hanoi in Hoa Lac extending to Xuan Mai Townlet will be a city of science - technology, and education training. To attract investors to this area, Hanoi has been focusing on improving infrastructure connection, expanding roads, etc.

Hanoi has just launched a new bus tour, offering tourists an additional way to explore the capital city’s cultural and historical landmarks and scenic attractions.

(VEN) - The capital of Hanoi has been assigned to implementing 239 public investment projects with the total capital of nearly VND47 trillion in 2023, including 219 transitional projects and 20 new projects. Some economists believe that Hanoi’s goal to disburse more than 95 percent of public investment capital in 2023 is feasible, given the positive results achieved under the guidance of the city’s People’s Committee.

(VEN) - Hanoi’s startup and innovation activities have been vibrant and robust in recent years, with about 1,000 innovative startups out of a total of 3,800 nationwide (accounting for 26.32 percent). Since 2016, innovative startups have raised US$1 billion with 100 successful capital calls.

(VEN) - At a recent workshop “Hanoi Capital Planning Orientation for the 2021-2030 period, with vision to 2050” organized on September 29, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Ha Minh Hai said Hanoi City is carrying out a lot of work to realize Resolution No.15-NQ of the Politburo on the directions and tasks to develop the capital until 2030 with vision until 2050.
