Two VNese destinations among cheapest places to live for digital nomads

The website revealed that the estimates were provided by Nomads, the largest crowd-sourced platform for tracking digital nomad trends on the internet.

According to Travel off Path, lining the Red River Delta in the north, Ninh Binh is considered the perfect antithesis to bustling Hanoi, particularly as it only has 130,517 residents.

It shared that locals benefit a lot from a slower lifestyle. Indeed, the area is even cheaper, with the surrounding nature largely left untouched.

“If you're truly looking for some peace and tranquility, you can even book an entire bungalow-style stay for a whole month on Airbnb for an astounding $394!” the website noted.

It added that in fact, visitors are unlikely to go higher than US$814 in terms of their total expenses, including food, utilities, and transport, for the entire month.

Moreover, besides the incredible affordability, users of Nomads have been hailing Ninh Binh lately for its ‘good' food safety.

Hue Imperial Citadel

Mentioning Hue, the website quoted Nomads as sayingthat the city is the former imperial capital of Vietnam and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, that comprises a moated fort, ornate palaces, and ancient shrines.

It is definitely not somewhere you'll be in a hurry to leave after a single weekend if you love sightseeing and culture, it stressed.

“The best part is that it is remarkably inexpensive to live in, with Nomads estimating monthly costs at US$948: indeed, you can order a bowl of pho for around a dollar in most food markets, a jug of domestic beer for only US$0.79, and rent an entire modern apartment for US$419 a month,” according to Nomads.

“Numerous bars and venues host expats week-round, crime levels are low, and natives are exceptionally friendly to foreigners,” it concluded./.
