(VEN) - In November 1994, Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chrétien visited Vietnam and attended the inauguration of the Canadian Embassy in Hanoi. A year earlier, in 1993, Vietnam had established its Trade Office in Ottawa, Canada. Over the past 30 years, the relationship between Vietnam and Canada has grown comprehensively, encompassing politics, diplomacy, trade, investment, security, defense, education, and cultural exchange.
