Currently, domestic enterprises apply different methods to clean deposits in pipes, mainly by using imported materials and equipment. However, imported equipment is not only costly, it also has limitations in terms of efficiency, safety and complicated operating process. Cleaning methods with chemicals are only suitable for small systems while cleaning large systems is expensive, time-consuming and unsafe because of the chemical side effects on the equipment.

In response to these drawbacks, researchers at the Key Laboratory for Welding and Surface Treatment of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering sought an improved pipe cleaning system. Their results exceeded expectations.

The system uses water to create high pressure, which combined with rotation movements can clean pipes of any length and all forms of deposits. Its rotary descaling head can free blockages.

The experiment results conducted at the Lam Thao Fertilizers and Chemicals Joint Stock Company showed that pipes can be cleaned without causing cracks or deformation at 35 meters per hour, seven times higher than previous cleaning methods.

The product can also perform in various vertical, inclined or horizontal positions. It has a unique simple structure that is easy to use, soft and flexible inside the pipe, ensuring safety in use.

The device can be combined with chemicals according to specific processes, which helps increase efficiency in solving unique pipe cleaning difficulties. It causes no harmful effects to the pipes, reduces environmental pollution and can work in different chemical residue environments. The product meets requirements in cleaning deposits in Ø36 - Ø50 heat exchanger pipes.
