PV GAS Deputy General Director Tran Nhat Huy speaks at the ceremony

The ceremony was attended by PV GAS Deputy General Director Tran Nhat Huy, Chairman of the PV GAS Trade Union Tran Xuan Thanh, along with members of the corporation’s Executive Board, leadership and the chairs of the Trade Union chapters of PV GAS’ affiliated units and members companies, and nearly 200 workers from various units of the corporation.

PV GAS Trade Union aims to enhance the care for its members and workers, and protect their legitimate rights and interests. It is committed to adhering to the leadership of the party committees at all levels and working together with relevant authorities to develop a competent workforce to serve the country’s industrialization and modernization.

In his speech at the ceremony, PV GAS Deputy General Director Tran Nhat Huy praised the Trade Union and its grassroots-level members for their significant contributions to ensuring occupational safety and health over the past nearly 34 years of PV GAS’ operation. He also drew lessons from recent labor accidents in Vietnam to raise awareness of responsibility among workers, emphasizing the importance of ensuring collective safety to promote cautious, safe, and efficient work practices.

During this month, PV GAS and its affiliated units carry out meaningful activities to encourage workers to take action to bring to life resolutions of the Trade Union congresses for the 2023-2028 tenure. These activities include highlighting positive role models and effective practices, launching an innovation campaign of the oil and gas sector and the PV GAS Sports Festival, visiting employees facing difficulties or serious illnesses, promoting occupational safety and health competitions, improving working conditions; talking with employees on occupational safety and health policies, organizing workshops to disseminate legal knowledge on occupational safety and health, organizing fire prevention and fighting exercises, planting trees, and enhancing hygiene at work and living areas of employees.

To spread the spirit of the ceremony, all leaders and employees of PV GAS participated in a walk and mountain climbing activity aimed at improving their health to contribute to the corporation’s development. This activity helped foster solidarity among PV GAS Trade Union members and colleagues.
