The 13th Party Central Committee (PCC) on August 16 elected Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, member of the PCC, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, and Minister of Public Security, to the Politburo. With this addition, the Politburo now has 15 members as of August 16, 2024.

The visit from August 18 – 20 is made at the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and President of China Xi Jinping. Vietnam and China, as neighbouring countries, share many similarities in culture, political systems, and development paths. Recently, through the joint efforts of both sides, the relationship between the two Parties and nations has progressed positively, achieving significant accomplishments across various fields.

In order to meet increasing demands of passengers during the upcoming National Day holiday (September 2), Vietnam Railways Corporation (VRC) will increase operation frequency and introduce discount campaigns.

Vietnam’s e-commerce market has seen consistent growth, boasting an average annual growth rate of 16-30% over the past four years, the highest in the world, according to a report recently released by OpenGov Asia, a content platform dedicated to sharing ICT-related knowledge and information to better serve citizens and customers.

For more than 50 years, the relationship between Vietnam and India has continuously strengthened and developed. Both countries have consistently supported and assisted each other with the shared goal of seeking happiness for their people. Their diplomatic relations are now at the level of a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, with significant and clear progress in politics, economics, culture, energy, and people-to-people exchanges.
