The state visit to Vietnam from November 28-29 by Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni contributes to deepening the relations between the two countries in line with the motto of "Good neighbourliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term sustainability."

At the invitation of President Luong Cuong, President of Bulgaria Rumen Radev and his spouse are on an official visit to Vietnam from November 24 to 28. This is the first visit to Vietnam by a Bulgarian president in 11 years, and also the first trip to the Southeast Asian country by President Radev.

During his trip to Brazil from November 16-19 for the G20 Summit and bilateral engagements, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh held talks with Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. The two leaders agreed to elevate the Vietnam-Brazil bilateral relations to a Strategic Partnership and issue a joint statement on the upgrade of the ties.

The elevated section of the pilot Nhon - Hanoi Station urban railway project has officially entered commercial operation, three months after its debut. This marks a pioneering step toward green transformation, laying the foundation for the capital's public and sustainable transportation development.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is leading a high-ranking delegation of Vietnam to attend the G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from November 16 to 19 at the invitation of Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

During his trip to attend the 2024 G20 Summit in Brazil from November 16 to 19, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will also take part in bilateral activities in Rio de Janeiro. The visit coincides with the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations (May 8, 1989 – May 8, 2024) and the 17th anniversary of the comprehensive partnership (May 2007 – May 2024) between Vietnam and Brazil, marked by a series of meaningful and diverse events.

On November 12, 2024, the National Assembly passed the resolution on the 2025 socio-economic development plan, prioritising growth based on macroeconomic stability, inflation control, and maintaining major economic balances. The resolution sets a GDP growth target of 6.5-7%, aiming to reach 7-7.5%.

Seven commodities of Vietnam posted an export value of over 10 billion USD in the first 10 months of this year, accounting for over 66.5% of the country's total export turnover.
