This is the legislative leader's first official visit to Laos in his new position, taking place just ahead of the AIPA-45 General Assembly, with Laos as the host nation. The GDP in the first 9 months of 2024 expanded by 6.82% compared to the same period in 2023. The GDP, based on 2010 constant prices, reached 4,472.22 trillion VND (around 180 billion USD).

The socio-economic situation in the third quarter and the first nine months of the year continues to show positive trends, with various sectors gaining significant achievements, laying a foundation for further growth in the remainder of the year.
