As part of the program, on the morning of June 17, 2026, the delegation attended the Fruit Consumption Connectivity Conference, a large-scale industry event that brought together more than 300 representatives from enterprises, industry associations, importers, distributors, e-commerce platforms, and trade promotion organizations from China and Southeast Asian countries.
Against the backdrop of rising demand for tropical fruits in China, the conference served as a key platform connecting producers and exporters directly with importers and distributors, thereby facilitating trade flows, expanding market access, and strengthening cooperation across the regional fruit supply chain.

At the event, participating enterprises not only showcased their products and promoted their brands but also gained valuable insights into emerging consumer trends in the Chinese market. Chinese consumers are increasingly seeking products with clear traceability, consistent quality, compliance with food safety standards, and environmentally friendly production practices. These are also areas in which many Vietnamese fruit enterprises have been steadily investing and establishing their competitive strengths.
In addition to product exhibitions, Vietnamese businesses actively engaged in business-matching activities and held direct discussions with potential partners to expand their distribution networks and explore long-term cooperation opportunities in China.
Exploring logistics, agricultural technology and partnership opportunities
On the afternoon of June 17, the delegation visited and worked with several leading organizations and enterprises in Guangxi's logistics and high-tech agriculture sectors.
The delegation toured the Intelligent Operations Center of Qinzhou Automated Port, one of China’s most modern and rapidly developing seaports, which plays a crucial role in facilitating trade connectivity between China and Southeast Asia. The visit provided Vietnamese enterprises with an opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of smart port management systems, automation technologies, and advanced logistics solutions supporting international trade activities.
The delegation also held discussions with Guangxi New Land-Sea Corridor Operation Co., Ltd., operating within the China Pilot Free Trade Zone, to learn about international transport routes, multimodal logistics solutions, and policy support measures for cross-border trade.

In the field of high-tech agriculture, the delegation surveyed the cultivation facilities of Guangxi Fruit Agriculture Co., Ltd. and visited the Qinnan AI-powered passion fruit sorting facility. Vietnamese enterprises showed particular interest in the application of artificial intelligence for agricultural product grading and quality control, as well as modern production models designed to improve productivity and meet increasingly stringent export market requirements.
On the morning of June 18, the delegation participated in the event titled “A Vast Market for All: Exporting to China - ASEAN Fruits Gathering in Guangxi 2026.” The forum served as an important venue for ASEAN and Chinese enterprises to exchange information on market developments, consumer trends, import requirements, and cooperation opportunities within the fruit supply chain.
Later that afternoon, the delegation conducted a field survey at a major wholesale market in Guangxi, one of the region’s largest fruit trading hubs, where numerous importers and agricultural product distributors operate. The delegation also met with the Association for Promoting Chinese Cooperation in Guangxi, Hong Kong (China), and Macao (China) to discuss opportunities for trade and investment cooperation and to strengthen business connectivity between enterprises from both sides.

Through trade promotion activities, field surveys, and business networking engagements, the 2026 Vietnamese Fruit Trade and Investment Delegation to Guangxi contributed to advancing agricultural exports, enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese enterprises, and laying a solid foundation for sustainable trade and investment cooperation between Vietnam and China in the years ahead.
