On June 23, 2026, in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, the Vietnam Trade Office in the Netherlands participated in the Tay Ninh province Investment Promotion Conference, jointly organized by the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province and the Embassy of Vietnam in the Netherlands. The event aimed to showcase the province's investment potential, competitive advantages, and cooperation opportunities to the Dutch business community.

The conference attracted representatives from the Netherlands Business Association in Vietnam (DBAV), investors, and enterprises, particularly those operating in manufacturing, logistics, high-tech agriculture, energy, and technology.

As part of the conference, the Vietnam Trade Office introduced Dutch businesses and partners to the Vietnam International Sourcing Expo (VIS) 2026, which is scheduled to take place from September 3 to 5, 2026, in Ho Chi Minh City. Organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, VIS 2026 is a flagship trade promotion event designed to connect international buyers, global distribution groups, retail chains, and Vietnamese manufacturers, thereby contributing to supply chain diversification and export growth.

In addition to presenting the scale of the exhibition and its business matching activities, the Trade Office also informed Dutch enterprises about the investment and trade promotion program, including networking sessions with international buying delegations, jointly organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province on September 5, 2026, as part of VIS 2026.

The program will provide international businesses, importers, and investors with opportunities to meet Tay Ninh's provincial leaders, gain first-hand insights into the province's investment environment, connect with local enterprises, and conduct site visits to industrial parks, logistics infrastructure, and key development projects.

By integrating the promotion of VIS 2026 into the Tay Ninh Investment Promotion Conference, the Vietnam Trade Office in the Netherlands aims to attract more Dutch buyers and investors to Vietnam while strengthening the synergy between trade promotion and investment promotion activities.

Many participating companies expressed strong interest in joining the program in Vietnam this September to engage directly with Tay Ninh's provincial leadership, explore investment opportunities, expand business partnerships, and gain a deeper understanding of the province's investment environment through on-site visits.

Facilitating the participation of Dutch businesses in VIS 2026 and the accompanying investment promotion program in Tay Ninh further underscores the Vietnam Trade Office's role as a bridge for advancing economic, trade, and investment cooperation between Vietnam and the Netherlands. The initiative also supports Vietnamese localities and enterprises in expanding partnerships with international counterparts, helping them integrate more deeply into global supply chains.
