A forum for trade and investment promotion

He affirmed that the event marked a promising beginning, opening a new chapter for Vietnam’s series of large-scale, internationally oriented trade, investment and cultural promotion events in the new era.

The Prime Minister stressed that, true to its theme “Connecting People with Business and Production,” the Vietnam Golden Autumn Fair 2025 served as a substantive platform for investment and trade promotion, reinforcing the principle that people are the centre, the driving force and the ultimate beneficiaries of all business, production and consumption activities.

With emotion, the Prime Minister said: “On behalf of the Party and State, I sincerely thank all those who have shown generosity and compassion toward the disaster-affected people. This spirit of solidarity and humanity is one of the most noble values of our nation, a great internal strength for Vietnam to move forward confidently and sustainably.”

He noted that central provinces have suffered severe losses from recent storms and floods and will soon face the impact of Storm No. 13, now intensifying in the East Sea. He once again called for collective support under the principle that “those with resources contribute resources, those with labour contribute labour,” encouraging businesses, citizens and soldiers nationwide to continue standing with affected communities so they may recover livelihoods and resume production.

Preparing for the First Vietnam Golden Spring Fair 2026

The First Vietnam Golden Autumn Fair 2025 concluded with impressive figures and strong momentum. To build on these achievements, the Prime Minister proposed five directions:

The Ministry of Industry and Trade should institutionalise the Vietnam Golden Autumn Fair as an annual, modern and effective event, and urgently develop a plan for the successful organisation of the First Vietnam Golden Spring Fair 2026.

A representative of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the agency acting on behalf of the Vietnamese people to receive donations in support of those affected by storms and natural disasters, accepted contributions from organizations and enterprises.

Ministries, sectors and localities should turn the commitments and agreements reached at the fair into concrete projects, products and socio-economic benefits for the people.

Industry associations and the business community should continue innovating, strengthening the value of Vietnamese brands, contributing to national development and fulfilling social responsibility, especially towards disaster-affected areas.

International partners and organisations are encouraged to continue supporting Vietnam in trade, investment, technology transfer and human-resource development in green, digital and sustainable growth.

All stakeholders should work together to connect people with people, people with the economy, culture and society, thereby spreading Vietnamese values internationally in a warm, humane and meaningful way.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh concluded that with today’s achievements and goodwill, Vietnam has every reason to believe that the spirit of innovation, cooperation and national aspiration will continue to flourish, fuelling the country’s growth and integration in the years ahead.

The closing ceremony also honoured outstanding organisations and enterprises participating in the fair, and formally received donations for people affected by storms and floods in central and northern mountainous provinces.
