Vietbeauty & Cosmobeauté Vietnam 2024 exhibition gathers over 2,000 brands

(VEN) - The “Vietbeauty & Cosmobeauté Vietnam 2024” exhibition has opened in Ho Chi Minh City, from July 25-27.

With an exhibition space of up to 13,000sqm, the event attracts more than 2,000 beauty brands from over 600 exhibitors representing 20 countries and regions, including Australia, China, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Jordan, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, the UK, the United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam.

Returning in 2024, Vietbeauty & Cosmobeauté Vietnam offers opportunities for industry professionals to find suppliers, distributors, and retailers for well–known brands. The event will showcase a wide range of products and services from manufacturing, packaging, and raw materials supply to finished products such as cosmetics, perfumes, nail and hair care. Additionally, the exhibition features professional beauty care equipment and tools for spas, clinics, and beauty salons.

Beyond the exhibition space, Vietbeauty & Cosmobeauté Vietnam 2024 focuses on the "Hosted Buyer" program to foster business connections between manufacturers, importers, distributors, spa and clinic businesses. Through this program, participants have the opportunity to schedule direct business meetings with exhibitors, exploring new cooperation opportunities with prestigious brands worldwide.

Vietnam is one of the countries with the highest average wage growth rate in the Asia-Pacific region (Statista, July 2024). Increasing disposable income and the rise of e–commerce are driving up demand for consumer goods, especially cosmetics and personal care products. It is projected that by 2024, the revenue of the beauty and personal care market in Vietnam will reach US$2.66 billion, with a CAGR of 2.97% (Statista, 2024-2028). In which, the personal care segment dominates the market share, estimated at approximately US$1.17 billion, accounting for more than 43% of the total market share.

Moreover, the trend towards sustainable development is significantly impacting Vietnam's cosmetics industry. Vietnamese consumers are interested in cosmetics made from natural ingredients, environmentally friendly, and packaged in recyclable materials. According to a 2023 survey by Rakuten Insight, 84% of Vietnamese consumers aged 25 to 44 are willing to pay more for sustainable products. The survey also revealed that more than half of those respondents consider purchasing sustainable or environmentally friendly products to be very important.
