The 2024 Food & Hotel Vietnam exhibition opens in HCMC

(VEN) - The 12th international food & drink, hotel, restaurant, bakery and foodservice equipment, supplies & services exhibition, Food & Hotel Vietnam 2024, has opened in Ho Chi Minh city (HCMC), from March 19-21.

The show gathers over 300 exhibitors from more than 27 countries and regions, including Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, Uzbekistan, Vietnam and other countries. Furthermore, the 3-day event also hosts over 21 international groups from Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Italy, Japan, Poland, Singapore, Thailand, UK, USA, Uruguay and so on.

Food & Hotel exhibition is an annual event organized with alternating editions in the Northern and Southern regions. This edition offers a diverse range of exhibits, including bakery, pastry & gelato; coffee/tea; food & beverage; foodservice & hospitality equipment; food tech/packaging/disposables; hospitality technology; drinks and other industry services.

In addition to the exhibit activities, the event is hosting various exciting programs with the engagement of a large number of participants and audience. Those programs include “Vietnam Culinary Challenge – VNCC 2024”, “Vietnam Barista Competition – VBC” (highlighting bartending skills, and the unique “Vietnam Aromaster Championship – VAC (focusing on coffee sensory skills). Young and aspiring talents, the future creators of modern cuisine and mixology, will be challenged, compete, and celebrated.

There is also interesting seminar “Embracing sustainable F&B trends and unlocking value for Vietnamese Products” at the exhibition. “"Saladplate Business Breakfast" program, which features presentations by leading experts from GlobalData and Euromonitor, is also newly launched at the exhibition. The program offers fresh perspectives on the Vietnamese foodservice market, future business opportunities, and the unique consumer behavior in Vietnam compared to other Southeast Asian countries.

With a spacious exhibition area of up to 11,500 square meters, the exhibition is expected to attract over 17,000 trade visitors.
