The 2024 Electric & Power Vietnam and HVACR Vietnam exhibitions open in HCMC

The 9th international power generation, transmission, distribution & renewable energy exhibition (Electric & Power Vietnam 2024) and the 16th international trade exhibition on HVAC, refrigeration and smart building technologies (HVACR Vietnam 2024) have opened in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC).

Over three days (September 4-6), more than 350 exhibitors and brands from over 15 countries and regions such as China, Germany, Hong Kong (China), India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Turkey, USA, Vietnam have showcased the most innovative technologies and solutions in the sectors of electric & power, renewable energy, smart grids, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and refrigeration.

With a total exhibition area of 8,800 sqm, the event is expected to attract around 7,000 trade attendees, offering a key platform for businesses to explore global industry advancements, connect with partners, customers, and attend high–quality international conferences.

The 2024 Electric & Power Vietnam features an extensive range of products and services for the power and energy sectors, including co–generation equipment (conventional power generation); components, inverters & peripherals; switchgears, tools & transformers; genset production equipment; desalination; temporary, standby power solutions; uninterruptible power supplies; energy management systems; emergency response. The exhibition highlights solutions for measurement, testing, monitoring, and safety in the power sector, alongside smart solutions, automation technologies, electric vehicles, and various environmental services.

Meanwhile, HVACR Vietnam 2024 presents a broad spectrum of products spanning the entire value chain of HVAC, cooling & refrigeration systems for smart buildings and industrial parks. This includes advanced air conditioning technologies and ventilation systems; HVAC control systems; thermostats; IoT applications; energy efficiency solutions; refrigeration technologies and many more.

Recognizing the shift towards renewable energy in Vietnam and APAC in general, this year's exhibition places a special emphasis on presenting the latest trends and technologies in green energy. The international conference "Exploring the future of energy in Vietnam" will reveal numerous compelling topics about the energy industry. Topics about energy transition in Vietnam, smart grids, energy as a service, energy efficiency, the potential of district cooling systems or market trends for advanced batteries will also be discussed at the event. Furthermore, this year’s exhibition features a brand–new international conference called "Vietnam Data Center Confex". As the economy rapidly transitions from traditional to online platforms, the demand for data centers is expected to surge, creating numerous new business opportunities. The audience at the conference will gain insights into the latest trends in Vietnam’s data center market, updated policies and regulations, strategies for achieving net–zero emissions, and sustainable energy management and cooling technologies. Discussions will also cover the impact of AI on data centers, how to make data centers AI–ready with cutting–edge cloud engines, and ensuring sustainable infrastructure during the AI revolution.
