Series of international exhibitions in industry and trade opened in Ho Chi Minh City

On the morning of November 27, the 20th Vietnam International Chemical Industry Exhibition (VINACHEM EXPO 2024) opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in HCM City.

This year, the exhibition is being held simultaneously with seven specialized international exhibitions: Agricultural Chemicals & Plant Protection (CAC VIETNAM); Chemical Equipment (VIETCHEMTECH); Paint & Coatings Industry (VINA COATINGS); Adhesives & Tapes (ADHESIVES & TAPE); Rubber & Tires (RUBBER TECH); Plastics Industry Technology & Products (PLASTICS EXPO); Biotechnology (BIOTECH).

The exhibitions were kicked off simultaneously in Ho Chi Minh City

The three-day exhibition features 700 booths from 500 companies from over 10 countries and regions, including the US, Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, Thailand and Australia, creating a favorable environment for managers, manufacturers, researchers, domestic and international enterprises to meet, exchange in-depth experience, help domestic and international investors grasp the information about policies and demand on investment in Vietnam, and optimize cooperation efficiency and business opportunities.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 21st China Chemical Industry Exhibition in Vietnam, Liu Ji Gang, Head of the Chemical, Paint and Coating Materials Exhibition Delegation, said that there are 266 Chinese participants at the exhibition, displaying various products, such as pesticides, fertilizers, adhesives and tapes, paints and coating materials, rubber and basic chemicals. He also emphasized that the continuous organization of the exhibition in Vietnam shows an important connection of the friendly relation and economic and trade cooperation between China and Vietnam in the field of chemical industry.

This morning, the PLASTICS EXPO 2024 also officially opened. The exhibition aims to boost coordination among enterprises operating in production, business, import and export, scientific research activities in the industry and trade sector in general and the plastics industry in particular, at the same time calling for investment from domestic and foreign investors in the plastic sector.

In addition, the International Exhibition on Biological Technology (BIOTECH) in the industry and trade sector also opened this morning, in which participating businesses display products, technology, machinery and equipment in many fields, such as food processing, textiles, footwear, plastics, etc.

All these exhibitions are being held from November 27-29 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) – 799 Nguyen Van Linh, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
