The National Spring Fair 2026 is expected to take place from February 2 to 8, 2026. According to an official notice, the event is intended to welcome the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, mark the country’s entry into a new era, and celebrate the success of the 14th National Party Congress, underscoring its necessity and significance.
The fair aims to step up trade promotion activities, stimulate domestic consumption, advance the campaign “Vietnamese people prioritize Vietnamese goods,” and introduce Vietnamese products, commodities and culture to international friends.
The event is scheduled to run from February 2 to 8, 2026.

The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Industry and Trade to take the lead, coordinating with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the People’s Committees of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, other relevant ministries and local authorities, and the Vietnam Exhibition Center Joint Stock Company to review, consolidate and develop the plan for organizing the National Spring Fair 2026.
During the drafting of the plan, relevant units are requested to focus on several key issues. These include studying and proposing a name for the fair that aligns with its objectives, significance and exhibition practices, with the proposed title being the National Spring Fair 2026.
In addition, the overall site layout and zoning must ensure scientific planning, aesthetic appeal and convenience for business transactions and public visits.
The plan should clearly define content and overall budget estimates; propose principles, criteria, support norms and projected levels of state budget support to ensure cost-effective organization, strictly preventing corruption, waste and misconduct. On this basis, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will finalize the plan and submit it to the Prime Minister.
Regarding contractor selection, ministries, agencies and localities are required to comply with legal regulations, ensuring progress, quality, transparency and integrity.
Media agencies are encouraged to step up communication and promotion of the National Spring Fair 2026 across mass media platforms, using diverse formats to widely disseminate information and images of the fair to the public.

According to information from the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, preparations for the National Spring Fair 2026 are being carried out urgently. One of the highlights of this year’s event will be the Spring Flower Fair, held in the “Vietnam Spring Colors” zone at the outdoor Eastern Yard of the Vietnam Exhibition Center.
Under the plan, the exhibition area will use outdoor pavilion structures, creating an open and airy space conducive to product display and public shopping. To encourage participation from enterprises, cooperatives and craft villages, each unit will receive free support for a 20-square-meter exhibition space, helping reduce costs and boost consumer promotion during the peak Tet season.
Currently, the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency is receiving registration dossiers from enterprises and organizations. The review of product categories, site planning and booth allocation is being conducted on schedule, ensuring consistency and professionalism for the entire National Spring Fair 2026.
Notably, the Agency has issued warnings about individuals attempting to misuse the fair’s name to solicit participation fees. The Ministry of Industry and Trade affirmed that no fees have been approved, except for a VND 3 million deposit per booth paid to the Trade and Investment Promotion Support Center under the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency to ensure participation commitments.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade calls on agencies, units and enterprises to coordinate and register in accordance with the official guidelines provided in the fair’s information dossier.
