On the afternoon of October 19, at the Vietnam Exhibition Centre (VEC), Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son, Head of the Steering Committee for the Autumn Fair 2025, and Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, Deputy Head of the Committee, inspected the construction and organizational preparations for the upcoming fair.
Accompanying the delegation were members of the Steering Committee for the Autumn Fair 2025 (established under Decision No. 2172/QD-TTg dated October 3, 2025, by the Prime Minister), leaders from the Command of the Guard, Vingroup, Vietnam Exhibition Centre (VEC), and representatives from relevant ministries and agencies.
The Autumn Fair 2025 is a national trade promotion event assigned by the Prime Minister for the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) to coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vingroup Group, VEC, and other central and local agencies. The event will take place across the entire VEC complex and has already drawn strong attention from enterprises, local authorities, and consumers nationwide.
More than a commercial platform, the fair represents a key highlight in Vietnam’s post-pandemic economic recovery and development efforts, in the context of ongoing challenges in domestic consumption, export markets, and global supply chains.
During the inspection, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien reported to Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son that the construction units are working around the clock with the highest determination to meet the set schedule.
Minister Nguyen Hong Dien emphasized that from the issuance of the Prime Minister’s directive to the fair’s opening ceremony, only one month is available for preparation. However, during this short period, the entire system, from central to local authorities, together with businesses and organizers, has made swift, coordinated efforts, working tirelessly day and night to ensure the event will be ready on time and meet the highest standards.
