ESFLO seeks Vietnamese suppliers for three product categories
According to the Department of Overseas Market Development under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, ESFLO Mkting, S.A. de C.V., a consumer goods importer and distributor headquartered in the State of Mexico, will participate in Viet Nam International Sourcing 2026 (VIS 2026) to source Vietnamese suppliers of stationery, gaming furniture and pet products.
The company currently operates a distribution network of more than 1,670 sales outlets across all 32 Mexican states through a combination of traditional retail, wholesale and e-commerce channels. Its participation reflects a growing trend of Mexican importers turning to Viet Nam as a preferred sourcing destination, supported by the strong expansion of bilateral trade under the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).

During VIS 2026, ESFLO Mkting will focus on identifying Vietnamese partners in three product segments with strong import demand: stationery, gaming furniture and pet supplies.
For the stationery and school supplies segment, the company is looking for notebooks, journals, document folders, desk accessories and other products designed for study and office environments. ESFLO is seeking manufacturers capable of offering diverse product designs, modern styling, consistent quality and competitive pricing to expand its product portfolio across the Mexican market.
In the gaming furniture category, the company is prioritizing gaming chairs and desks, a segment experiencing rapid growth alongside the expansion of Mexico's gaming and esports industries. ESFLO is looking for manufacturers with large-scale production capacity, compliance with international standards, product customization capabilities and experience in private-label manufacturing.
For pet products, the company is interested in items such as pet beds, houses, carriers, feeding bowls, collars and related accessories. According to ESFLO, demand in Mexico is rising rapidly for pet products that combine attractive designs, reliable quality, competitive prices and dependable delivery schedules, driven by the increasing number of pet-owning households. The trend presents significant opportunities for Vietnamese manufacturers.
Notably, ESFLO's objective extends beyond obtaining quotations or placing short-term orders. During VIS 2026, company representatives plan to assess the manufacturing capabilities of Vietnamese suppliers through factory visits, evaluating quality management systems, international certifications, delivery capacity, minimum order quantities (MOQs) and commercial terms before selecting partners for long-term cooperation.
Viet Nam-Mexico trade gains momentum under CPTPP
Bilateral trade between Viet Nam and Mexico reached USD 8.17 billion in 2025, up 27.4% from the previous year. Vietnamese exports accounted for more than USD 7 billion, representing growth of nearly 29%.
The upward trajectory has continued into the first half of 2026, with two-way trade exceeding USD 5 billion. Vietnamese exports to Mexico alone reached approximately USD 4.3 billion, nearly 40% higher than the same period last year.
Mexico is currently Viet Nam's second-largest trading partner in Latin America, while Viet Nam has become Mexico's eighth-largest trading partner in Asia. Key Vietnamese exports, including electronics, machinery, textiles and garments, footwear, plastic products, rubber products, wooden furniture and seafood, have all recorded robust growth and continue to offer considerable expansion potential.
With a population of more than 134 million, one of the largest economies in Latin America and a network of free trade agreements covering around 90% of its trade, Mexico is widely regarded as a strategic gateway for Vietnamese businesses seeking access not only to the Mexican market but also to the United States, Canada and other markets across the Americas.
To capitalize on opportunities in Mexico, Vietnamese exporters must meet increasingly stringent technical standards and import requirements. Retail products must carry Spanish-language labels, comply with Mexico's Official Standards (NOM), provide transparent origin information and satisfy CPTPP rules of origin to benefit from preferential tariffs while minimizing trade remedy risks.
Against this backdrop, Viet Nam International Sourcing 2026 serves not only as a product showcase but also as a platform connecting Vietnamese enterprises directly with international retailers, distributors and importers. The event enables businesses to better understand market demand, technical requirements and establish sustainable commercial partnerships.
The three-day exhibition is therefore expected not only to generate new export contracts but also to reinforce Viet Nam's position as a strategic sourcing hub in global supply chains, where international buyers can identify reliable long-term partners.
Scheduled for September 3-5, 2026, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam International Sourcing 2026 is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. The event is expected to remain Viet Nam's largest international supply chain connectivity platform.
Building on the success of the 2025 edition, which welcomed more than 450 buying delegations from 60 countries and territories, VIS 2026 will bring together hundreds of international distributors, importers, retail chains and e-commerce platforms seeking Vietnamese suppliers across sectors including food and beverages, furniture, consumer goods, healthcare products and export support services.
