A platform connecting rural industrial products
On the evening of July 1, the 2026 Rural Industrial Products Exhibition - Inspiring Innovation, Promoting Vietnamese Brands officially opened at the Da Nang Exhibition and Fair Center.
The event is part of the 2026 National Industrial Promotion Program, organized to support enterprises, cooperatives, and rural industrial producers in showcasing their products, seeking business partners, and expanding market opportunities. As digital transformation, green transition, and international economic integration become increasingly important, the exhibition also provides an opportunity for localities and businesses to assess their production capabilities, adaptability, and future development strategies for rural industrial products.

Do Thi Minh Tram, Deputy Director General of the Department of Innovation, Green Transition and Industrial Promotion under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, delivers remarks at the event.
According to the organizing committee, this year's exhibition features 300 booths and brings together nearly 150 enterprises and rural industrial establishments from 24 provinces and cities nationwide. A diverse range of products is on display, including outstanding rural industrial products, processed goods, handicrafts, consumer products, and items reflecting regional strengths.
A highlight of the exhibition is the dedicated showcase area for outstanding rural industrial products, designed as a large centralized exhibition space. It presents products that represent local production capacity, innovation, and sustainable development initiatives. The exhibition enables consumers, distributors, and business partners to engage directly with the products while learning about their production processes, quality, design, and market potential.
Beyond traditional product displays, this year's exhibition places strong emphasis on integrating physical exhibits with digital technologies. Three-dimensional visual presentations and virtual reality applications are being used to vividly showcase products, manufacturing processes, and technological innovation models. This approach enhances visitors' experiences while providing rural industrial enterprises with modern promotional tools.
The exhibition also features thematic zones focusing on green transition, innovation, and digital transformation in rural industrial production. These topics are receiving growing attention from local authorities and businesses as markets increasingly demand consistent product quality, attractive designs, environmentally friendly manufacturing processes, and transparent product traceability.
Innovation to enhance product value
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Do Thi Minh Tram, Deputy Director General of the Department of Innovation, Green Transition and Industrial Promotion under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, said that virtual reality technology and digital solutions have been applied throughout the exhibition to provide immersive experiences while introducing manufacturing models, circular economy technologies, and innovative ideas.
According to Do Thi Minh Tram, applying technology at the exhibition not only modernizes product presentation and promotion but also helps enterprises keep pace with emerging trends, facilitating knowledge sharing and technology transfer. This is particularly important for the rural industrial sector, where most businesses are small and medium-sized enterprises, cooperatives, and household production facilities that continue to face challenges related to capital, technology, human resources, and market access.

Delegates attend the event.
"In the context of deeper international integration and increasingly intense competition, innovation has become a key driver for enterprises to enhance product value and expand markets. In the rural industrial sector, where the majority of businesses are small and medium-sized enterprises, many producers have proactively upgraded technologies, improved product designs, and strengthened brand development," Do Thi Minh Tram emphasized.
In practice, many rural industrial products already demonstrate strong quality while benefiting from local raw materials, skilled craftsmanship, and distinctive regional identities. However, to achieve broader market success, these products require greater support in design, packaging, quality standards, product traceability, intellectual property protection, and distribution network development. This explains why industrial promotion activities, trade promotion programs, and exhibitions continue to play an important role in bringing products from production facilities to wider markets.
Through the exhibition, enterprises have more opportunities to engage directly with consumers, distributors, and commercial partners. Market feedback will help producers refine product designs, improve quality, enhance packaging, strengthen brand storytelling, and optimize sales strategies. For products with distinctive regional characteristics, the event also serves as an opportunity to promote local identities while boosting consumption linked to tourism, trade, and services.
The exhibition runs from July 1 to July 5 at the Da Nang Exhibition and Fair Center, featuring a wide range of product displays, business networking activities, and promotional programs. The organizing committee expects the event to help enterprises expand market access, increase product value, and promote the development of rural industries toward a modern, green, and sustainable future.
From product display booths to digital technology experience zones, the exhibition reflects a clearer direction for Vietnam's rural industry. Rather than relying solely on existing advantages, the sector is increasingly focusing on innovation to create higher added value, strengthen brand development, and better meet evolving market demands. This will provide a solid foundation for outstanding rural industrial products to consolidate their position in the domestic market while expanding opportunities in international markets.
The 2026 Rural Industrial Products Exhibition is a flagship activity under the National Industrial Promotion Program. Through product showcases, business networking activities, and the application of digital technologies in product promotion, the program supports enterprises, cooperatives, and rural industrial producers in enhancing competitiveness, expanding market access, and achieving sustainable development.
