Retail sales and consumer service revenue surge in September 2025

Vietnam’s total retail sales and consumer service revenue in September 2025 rose 11.3% year-on-year, driven by strong domestic demand and tourism recovery.

According to the General Statistics Department under the Ministry of Finance, Vietnam’s total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in September 2025 were estimated at VND 598.7 trillion, up 2% from the previous month and 11.3% higher than the same period last year.

The robust growth was attributed to rising domestic demand for goods, services, and tourism, especially during major national celebrations, along with a sharp increase in international visitors to Vietnam.
