Fi Asia Thailand 2025 highlights food innovation

Bangkok, Thailand – Fi Asia Thailand 2025, set to take place from 17 to 19 September at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC).

This event is preparing to welcome thousands of industry professionals to what has become the region’s leading platform for the food and beverage (F&B) ingredients sector.

The event comes at a time when the Asia Pacific specialty food ingredients market is on a steep growth trajectory, valued at USD 21.15 billion in 2024 and forecast to nearly double by 2033, reaching USD 38.75 billion. This growth, according to Market Data Forecast, represents a compound annual rate of 6.96 percent, underlining the significance of Fi Asia Thailand 2025 as a hub for business development and industry advancement.

Organizers of the event expect more than 750 exhibitors from across the globe to showcase their latest products and solutions, while attracting over 23,000 visitors from at least 70 countries.

Beyond its size, the exhibition is also designed to be a forum for knowledge exchange and collaboration. Attendees will have access to more than 60 sessions covering topics from emerging technologies and innovative formulations to consumer behavior and regulatory frameworks.

Fi Asia Thailand 2025 will once again be co-located with Vitafoods Asia, the region’s foremost gathering for the dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, and functional ingredients industries. Together, the two events form a comprehensive marketplace that spans the full spectrum of the food and health product supply chain – from early-stage research and formulation through to packaging, brand development, and commercialization.

For participants, this co-location provides a unique opportunity to explore synergies between the food and health sectors, which are increasingly converging as consumers demand products that are not only enjoyable but also beneficial to wellbeing.

One of the key attractions at this year’s event is the Innovation Zone, curated by Innova Market Insights. This feature will spotlight cutting-edge ingredients and technologies poised to shape the next generation of F&B products. It is complemented by the Innovation Tours, organized by Nutrimarketing, which will guide participants through curated deep dives into specific themes across the show floor. Each tour will last about 90 minutes and provide direct engagement with exhibitors at the forefront of product development.

Another highlight is the series of five dedicated conferences that Fi Asia Thailand 2025 will host. Themes include transforming ASEAN’s local ingredients into globally competitive innovations, harmonizing Halal certification across the region, exploring trending ingredients in the fast-moving consumer goods space, accelerating value chains for functional foods, and understanding the latest regulatory shifts in Asia. These sessions are designed to bring together experts, innovators, and policymakers to discuss challenges and opportunities, while offering actionable insights for businesses seeking to expand in the region.

The Academic to Commercial Interactive Showcase will also play a central role in connecting academia with industry. By highlighting research breakthroughs from Thai universities and academic institutions, the showcase aims to accelerate the commercialization of novel food ingredient solutions. For companies, this is an opportunity to engage directly with scientific innovation that could shape their future product pipelines.

Among the exhibitors, Vietnamese businesses are set to make a notable contribution. GroupG Asia Pacific will highlight its portfolio of sustainable and innovative specialty ingredients. The company focuses on food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, feed, and farm sectors, and will bring to the event products such as cascara extract, kombucha powder, and coffee extract. These offerings reflect global trends toward natural, functional, and sustainable ingredients that appeal to health-conscious consumers.

Vedan Vietnam, another prominent participant, will showcase its extensive expertise in starches and sweeteners. The company is a leading manufacturer of modified starches derived from tapioca, waxy maize, and potatoes, as well as pregelatinized starches, rice starches, and resistant starches that serve as fiber-rich alternatives. The company’s presence underscores the growing role of Vietnam in supplying high-quality, versatile ingredients that meet the evolving needs of both regional and global markets.

With its mix of business opportunities, knowledge-sharing, and industry networking, Fi Asia Thailand 2025 is positioned as a gateway to one of the world’s most dynamic F&B markets.
