Unique branding and promotion

Bluecare has a unique way of branding and promotion, starting with its own communication channel to provide information about health care, pregnancy, and living environment.

In June 2021, the company’s 80 fan pages and groups, four Instagram channels, five Youtube channels, and one web blog attracted 17.4 million viewers. In addition, Bluecare has access to millions of other potential customers through thousands of mother and baby shops that use Bluecare\'s communication data.

A Bluecare representative said the free-of-charge information channels have helped the company minimize marketing and branding costs. The startup model applied by Bluecare since its inception has been especially valuable in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Bluecare has experienced a monthly growth of 25 percent in the number of app users and service revenue even during the pandemic’s peak period. The community-based strategy has helped Bluecare increase its customer satisfaction rate to 99.8 percent and rapidly expand its service coverage. Since 2020, Bluecare has been providing services to major provinces and cities across the country, including Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Da Nang, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, and Nghe An.

The pandemic has greatly increased the need for home medical care. To meet the growing demand, Bluecare has expanded its operations, diversified its range of services, and upgraded the application to enhance user convenience. Three weeks plus after it launched operations in the country’s southern hub – Ho Chi Minh City, Bluecare reported encouraging results in terms of customer interest and order numbers.

Bluecare CEO Nguyen Van Phong said his company is focusing on promoting high-tech services, exceeding its initial targets while at the same time maintaining customer satisfaction rate of 99.8 percent. Bluecare has plans to expand its service coverage to at least 35 provinces and cities nationwide within the next three years, and even to countries in Southeast Asia and the rest of the world.

Despite the difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Bluecare has proved its potential and capability. The company received both financial and non-financial support from ThinkZone Accelerator, a startup accelerator program. With an investment of US$50,000 from ThinkZone, along with a three-month accelerated training program, the Bluecare application has been successfully connected to a network of founders and experts from Silicon Valley.

Bluecare services include care for the sick and elderly at home and in hospitals, mother and newborn care, nursing, rehabilitation, traditional medicine, and vaccination services. In the near future, Bluecare will provide other services including maternity and pediatric care at home, testing, yoga and meditation at home with personal trainers and instructors, and medical equipment rental. Bluecare\'s young staff members are preparing for the company’s service coverage expansion to foreign markets.
