The "Six-Best" super fair highlights national stature
Hanoi hosted a high-profile press conference on the afternoon of October 14 for the Vietnam Golden Autumn Fair, the largest national trade promotion event to date. The conference saw the attendance of top leaders, including Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan and Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Ho An Phong, both serving as Deputy Heads of the Steering Committee. The event gathered officials from central ministries, the Hanoi People's Committee, associations, businesses, and over 200 domestic and international media outlets.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan opened the press conference.
The Vietnam Golden Autumn Fair 2025 will be organized under the direct supervision of the Prime Minister's Office, as outlined in Official Telegram No. 172/CĐ-TTg and Decision No. 2172/QĐ-TTg establishing the Steering Committee. MOIT is the lead coordinating agency, working closely with the Ministries of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, and Finance, the Hanoi People's Committee, and major national media outlets including VNA, VTV, and VOV.
DM Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan and representatives from ministries, sectors, and businesses attended the press conference.
With an exhibition area spanning over 130,000 square meters and featuring approximately 3,000 booths and nearly 2,500 participating enterprises, the Fair is expected to draw half a million visitors daily, establishing it as the "Six-Best Super Fair" in the history of Vietnam's trade promotion.
Held at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC), ranked among the Top 1 exhibition venues in Southeast Asia and Top 10 globally. Vietnam Golden Autumn Fair 2025 promises an unparalleled visitor experience. The event will feature modern displays utilizing cutting-edge projection, lighting, and sound technology. Crucially, all exhibited products meet stringent technical standards and export certifications, including those under the 'Vietnam National Brand' and 'High-Quality Vietnamese Goods' programs.

In parallel with the exhibition activities, the Fair will host over 30 sideline events, including B2B and B2C conferences, trade promotion forums, business talk shows, fashion shows, sports events, and culinary showcases. Notably, the "Youthful Mark" music night, celebrating 30 years of singing by renowned artist Dan Truong, is anticipated to be a unique cultural highlight, injecting a vibrant atmosphere into the heart of autumn Hanoi.
The Fair's overarching message is "Connecting People, Creating Prosperity", underscoring the objective of boosting the 2025 economic growth rate to over 8% while simultaneously laying the groundwork for Vietnam's future annual "four-season" Fair series.
The space of the Autumn Fair 2025 is designed as a cross-Vietnam journey, taking visitors to explore the country’s economic vitality and culture through five distinctive thematic zones. "Prosperous Autumn" is the area spearheaded by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, bringing together corporations and businesses in industry, logistics, and green energy, thereby showcasing the innovation capacity and endogenous strength of the Vietnamese economy.
The Fair features two distinct zones: The 'Cultural Essence of Vietnam and Trade Hub', led by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, focuses on the creative economy, blending music, fashion, and arts to connect culture and commerce. Complementing this is the 'Hanoi Autumn Essence' zone, organized by the Hanoi People's Committee, which will showcase the city's refined culture, recreating the spirit of Thang Long through traditional craft villages, authentic cuisine, and tourism offerings.
The "Vietnamese Autumn - Colors and Scents" zone is the 'soul' of the Fair, gathering typical products from 34 provinces and cities nationwide. It is where agricultural goods, handicrafts, and OCOP (One Commune One Product) items converge, reaffirming the position of Vietnamese goods on the international trade map. The "Family Autumn" zone, jointly organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Vingroup/VEC Group, offers a space for shopping, entertainment, cuisine, and technology, catering to the modern consumption needs of Vietnamese families.
In addition, the outdoor area will feature the vibrant "Delicious Autumn" Food Festival, hosting the "Cheer Fest – Trans-Border Beer & BBQ" event, which brings together over 100 types of craft beer, 10 major domestic and international beer brands, and a variety of grilled dishes. Concurrently, the "A Trip Around Vietnam" culinary journey will recreate the gastronomic essence of the three regions, allowing visitors to fully savor the flavors of Hanoi autumn in an emotionally rich setting.
Government urges action, businesses rally
Under the direct supervision of the Prime Minister, preparations for the Vietnam Golden Autumn Fair 2025 have been urgently and systematically implemented. On September 27, 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued the organizational plan; by October 7, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien signed Official Telegram No. 7734/CĐ-BCĐ, requesting localities to complete site handover before October 9, 2025. As of October 13, 2025, over 90% of all items have been completed, nearly 3,000 booths have been registered, and the entire exhibition area is fully occupied.
Mr. Vu Ba Phu, Director General of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency, spoke at the press conference.
Logistics, security, sanitation, and utility services (electricity and water) have become fully operational and stable. Notably, participating enterprises in the "Prosperous Autumn" zone are being granted free exhibition space, alongside support for booth and electricity costs, demonstrating the State's spirit of companionship and shared responsibility with the business community.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, along with key press agencies such as VTV, VOV, Vietnam News Agency, People Newspaper, and Vietnam Economic News, has synchronously implemented communications and promotion efforts, disseminating the Fair's message to every business and citizen. Vietnam Golden Autumn Fair 2025 Press Center will also officially open, facilitating reporting for domestic and international journalists and ensuring timely coverage of event developments across all media platforms.
A multimedia communication campaign, featuring the hashtags #HoiChoMuaThu2025, #MotNgayThuHaNoi (A Day of Hanoi Autumn), and #KyUcMuaThuHaNoi (Hanoi Autumn Memories), is being vigorously promoted on social media. This campaign aims to connect the emotions of the community, particularly the youth, who are actively shaping new, dynamic, and modern consumption styles.
Within the framework of the event, the Organizing Committee will honor collectives and individuals who have made active contributions to the Fair, recognizing the efforts of businesses, localities, and media agencies. The categories for recognition include: certificates for enterprises with impressive and high-quality booths; commendation for press agencies, organizations, KOLs, and KOCs actively promoting the Fair; and awards for creative booth designs that distinctly showcase Vietnamese brand identity.
Vietnam Golden Autumn Fair 2025 is anticipated to become a major annual national trade event, serving as an "orchestra" connecting Vietnam's production, trade, and culture. Furthermore, it is poised to be a symbol of the nation's spirit of integration, innovation, and development in the 21st century.
Vietnam Golden Autumn Fair 2025 promises to be a standout highlight in trade promotion and national branding activities for 2025. It will also lay the groundwork for the formation of an annual "four-season" Fair series, aiming to establish the Vietnam Exhibition Center as a trusted and reliable destination in the region and the world for trade connectivity, investment, and cultural exchange in the future.
