Strengthening supply chains and enhancing the value of Vietnamese coffee
The conference continued with in-depth perspectives from representatives of industry associations. Li Gonglie, Secretary General of the Yunnan Coffee Association, noted that China's consumer market is experiencing a strong surge in coffee consumption demand, particularly for instant and roasted coffee products favored by younger consumers. He affirmed that the association would actively serve as a bridge by providing information on standards and quota requirements and facilitating direct connections between major Chinese distributors and reputable Vietnamese exporters.
Responding to these expectations, Pham Thang, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Coffee - Cocoa Association, said that Vietnamese farmers and businesses are strictly complying with international traceability and phytosanitary requirements. He expressed the hope that Chinese partners would strengthen joint ventures and transfer packaging and deep-processing technologies closer to Vietnam's coffee-growing regions so that both sides could capitalize on their respective strengths and increase the added value of the coffee supply chain.

The networking area was clearly divided into three specialized segments: imports and exports of raw coffee materials, imports and exports of processed coffee products, and imports and exports of coffee industry equipment and technologies. Businesses from both countries actively showcased their signature products, exchanged information, and sought trading partners, creating new opportunities for sustainable and practical business cooperation in the future.
The 2026 China - Vietnam Coffee Business Matching Conference concluded successfully, leaving a strong impression through substantive cooperation agreements and commercial contracts between enterprises from both countries.
The event not only created a vibrant trade platform covering three specialized sectors, from raw materials and processed products to technology and equipment, but also reaffirmed the strong commitment of government agencies and industry associations to optimizing cross-border logistics systems, advancing administrative reforms, and promoting green technical standards. These efforts are expected to further strengthen the sustainable development of the cross-border coffee supply chain.
