Sun Group, Marriott International cooperate to manage two luxurious resorts in Phu Quoc

Sun Group and Marriott International officially signed the management agreement for two high-end resort projects on Hon Thom Island

According to the agreement, Marriott International, which operates more than 8,600 luxury hotels and resorts worldwide, will take over management and operation of the Ritz Carlton Reserve and The Luxury Collection resorts in the south of Hon Thom Island, elevating Hon Thom, Phu Quoc to a globally recognized high-end tourist destination.

The Ritz Carlton, with hundreds of years of experience, currently operates and manages more than 110 hotels and resorts in more than 35 countries and regions. The number of projects and hotels named The Ritz Carlton is very limited as very few are qualified to be managed by this brand.

Ritz Carlton Reserve is the highest level in the standards of The Ritz Carlton. These are considered "protected areas" that bring guests unique and luxurious experiences beyond imagination.

Currently, there are only six Ritz Carlton Reserve-branded resorts worldwide, which are in Dorado (Puerto Rico), Niseko (Japan), Bali (Indonesia), Krabi (Thailand), Los Cabos (Mexico), and Jiuzhaigou (China). In the near future, Hon Thom in Phu Quoc, Vietnam will be the 7^th “reserve”.

Ritz Carlton Reserve Hon Thom Island is the next 6-star masterpiece of "resort king" Bill Bensley and Sun Group. 40 villas with areas ranging from 200 to 2,000 m2 are designed in the style of typical Polynesian high-roofed houses in the north of Oahu Island, Hawaii. The Luxury Collection Hon Thom Island Hotel is located right next to Bai Trao, the most beautiful beach in Hon Thom. The system of 305 rooms, ranging from 50 to 250 m2, was designed by a team of architects at 10Design, a globally famous design consulting unit.

The Luxury Collection Hon Thom Island carries the image of a giant wind-filled sail stretching out into the ocean. With the hotel leaning on the mountain and facing the sea, guests will be able to fully enjoy the scenery of the Phu Quoc sunset.

When put into operation, The Luxury Collection Hon Thom Island is expected to bring full luxury living and entertainment amenities to guests, such as a wave pool, children's play area, gym & spa treatment, sauna, a restaurant, a rooftop bar, and a large conference room of 900 m2.
