With the theme “Preserving, promoting and spreading the traditional cultural identities of ethnic minorities with very few people”, the festival has the participation of 14 ethnic groups from 13 provinces.

Within the framework of the festival, there will be many activities such as offering flowers at the Monument of Uncle Ho with Lai Chau ethnic groups; opening ceremony of the festival; opening display of cultural, sports and tourism activities; performing and introducing festivals and traditional cultural activities of ethnic groups; a mass arts festival; demonstration of traditional costumes of ethnic groups and traditional crafts of ethnic groups; displaying and introducing typical cultural products of ethnic groups.
