Vietnam ranks 33rd in the global rankings in terms of the number of wins at various beauty contests.

The country jumped eight places to reach 33rd position in the global rankings in terms of the number of wins at various contests, according to international beauty site All For The Crowns.

The list is based on statistical achievements recorded by beauty queens worldwide during six contests - Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International, Miss Earth, Miss Supranational, and Miss Grand International.

Among the six contests, Vietnam has won three crowns at Miss International 2024, Miss Grand International 2021, and Miss Earth 2018.

Topping the list was Venezuela, whose beauties have brought home 25 crowns so far. Venezuelan representatives have won a total of seven Miss Universe crowns, six Miss World crowns, nine Miss International crowns, two Miss Earth crown, and one Miss Grand International crown.

The United States came second with 17 wins, including nine Miss Universe crowns, three Miss World crowns, three Miss International crowns, one Miss Earth crown, and one Miss Grand International crown.

The Philippines took the lead in the Southeast Asian region and ranked third globally, after securing four Miss Universe crowns, one Miss World crown, six Miss International crowns, one Miss Supranational crown, and four Miss Earth crowns.

Elsewhere, other Southeast Asian representatives Thailand and Indonesia were placed in 18th and 32nd positions, respectively.
