Over recent years, Vietnam’s logistics sector has witnessed strong growth and increasingly affirmed its vital role in the economy, contributing to production, goods circulation and the country’s import-export capacity. Logistics is no longer merely a supporting service but has become an important service sector with a direct impact on the competitiveness of businesses and national supply chains.

Particularly amid digital transformation, the rapid growth of e-commerce, increasing requirements for greener supply chains and adaptation to global sustainable development standards, Vietnam’s logistics sector is facing major opportunities as well as numerous challenges. This requires the logistics business community to continue innovating management models, investing in technology, developing high-quality human resources and strengthening linkages among supply chain stakeholders.

Therefore, the announcement of Vietnam Logistics Day and Vietnam Logistics Week carries highly practical significance. “We expect this to become an annual national-scale activity that will help raise public awareness of the role of logistics, while creating additional momentum for enterprises in the sector to accelerate innovation, digital transformation and the development of green, smart and integrated logistics,” Ngo Khac Le stated.

“We also hope that through this series of events, more cooperation opportunities will be opened between logistics enterprises and businesses in manufacturing, exports, trade, technology and investment, thereby forming a modern, efficient logistics ecosystem with strong adaptability to fluctuations in the global market,” Ngo Khac Le said.

The announcement of Vietnam Logistics Day and Vietnam Logistics Week is expected to create additional momentum for the logistics sector to develop in a modern, professional and sustainable manner, thereby enhancing the position of Vietnam’s logistics industry in regional and global supply chains.
