The event aimed to highlight and honor potential, distinctive, and advantageous agricultural products of each locality, especially those ensuring food safety, and involved in food value chains. It helps these entities strengthen their brand and increase the added value of their products; at the same time, advertising, introducing, and connecting products to consumers and businesses both inside and outside the province.

In addition, this event was also an opportunity to encourage collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in farmers’ movements, who have various creative ideas and genuine enrichment aspiration on their homeland, contributing to the successful implementation of Resolution No.19-NQ/TW of the 5^th Plenum of the 13th Central Party Committee on agriculture, farmers, and rural areas to 2030, with a vision until 2045.

Nguyen The Giang, Vice Chairman of the Tuyên Quang Provincial People’s Committee, stated that over the past year, Tuyen Quang has achieved many significant and comprehensive results across various sectors, basically completing the set goals and tasks, with many indicators meeting or exceeding plans. These achievements were attributed to the significant contributions of the staff and members of the Farmers’ Union chapter of the province.

“In the coming time, the Farmers’ Union chapters at all levels need to continue to innovate, improve the quality and effectiveness of dissemination work, create consensus in the awareness and actions of members and farmers concerning agricultural development, farmers, rural areas, and new-style rural area building, help each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably, regularly understand the thoughts and aspirations of farmers to provide them timely support in order to create and spread motivation to promote the potential and strengths of each locality,” the Vice Chairman emphasized. Specifically, the associations will guide members and farmers to apply digital technology, build ecological agricultural production models, green agriculture, create many safe, high-quality agricultural products that are competitive in the market; act well as a bridge to build sustainable and effective links between the State, Farmers, Scientists and Enterprises, contributing to building an effective production and supply and consumption chain.

On this occasion, Tuyen Quang honored and awarded certificates to nine outstanding agricultural products. The provincial Farmers’ Union chapter honored 35 outstanding members in production and business, awarded Certificates of Merit to 71 outstanding officials and members, awarded Certificates of Merit to 50 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the Union’s work and in the farmers’ movement in 2024.
