As Vietnam’s new school year approaches, electric two-wheelers are becoming an increasingly popular choice for families seeking safer, smarter and more sustainable transportation for students. Beyond affordability, purchasing decisions are now driven by intelligent connectivity, enhanced safety features and lower operating costs, reflecting the country’s broader transition toward green mobility.
Responding to this trend, electric motorcycle manufacturer YADEA continues to expand its student-focused product portfolio while strengthening its nationwide sales, after-sales and vehicle trade-in ecosystem.

Smart technologies and connected features are reshaping back-to-school mobility choices for Vietnamese families.
The company’s lineup for students includes the I8, I-Cute, X-BULL, X-SKY, Vekoo, Omee and Ova models, all equipped with pedals and designed to balance the preferences of both young riders and their parents. While students tend to value modern styling and convenience, parents increasingly prioritize safety, durability and long-term reliability.
Priced between VND 9 million and VND 16 million, including the battery or lead-acid battery and standard accessories, the models aim to make electric mobility more accessible to first-time users.
Smart technologies are also playing a larger role in everyday commuting. Selected models feature keyless unlocking, GPS positioning, electronic geo-fencing, abnormal movement alerts and remote vehicle monitoring via smartphone applications. These functions enable parents to monitor vehicle status and respond quickly if unusual situations occur, providing greater peace of mind as students travel independently to school or extracurricular activities.
For younger users, connected features enhance the overall riding experience. Depending on the model, smart displays can provide navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, customizable interfaces and multiple riding modes, delivering an intuitive and technology-oriented experience that aligns with the digital habits of today's students.
Alongside product development, the company continues to invest in customer support. Buyers receive official warranties of up to two years, depending on the model and component, as well as complimentary scheduled maintenance through more than 700 authorized stores and service locations nationwide. The extensive network is intended to improve service accessibility while helping reduce maintenance concerns throughout the vehicle's lifecycle.
Liu Jia, General Director of YADEA Vietnam, said today's younger generation will shape the future of transportation in Vietnam. According to him, back-to-school season is often when many families purchase a student's first vehicle, making the decision about more than mobility alone. He said the company aims to support Vietnamese families with accessible products, dependable services and an expanding ecosystem that encourages wider adoption of electric motorcycles as a smart, safe and sustainable transportation solution.
To coincide with the 2026-2027 back-to-school season, YADEA has also introduced a nationwide promotional campaign titled "Buy a YADEA, Win an iPhone 17."
Running through September 30, 2026, customers purchasing eligible student electric motorcycle models, including the I8, I-Cute, X-BULL, X-SKY, Vekoo, Omee and Ova, from authorized dealerships or official online stores on TikTok Shop, Shopee and Lazada will be entered into a lucky draw in which every participant is guaranteed to receive a prize.
At the same time, the company is continuing its "Trade Gas for Electric" program, allowing customers to exchange gasoline-powered motorcycles or older electric vehicles for new YADEA models with support of up to VND 10 million, depending on the vehicle model, condition and applicable promotional policy. The initiative is designed to reduce the upfront cost of ownership while encouraging more consumers to transition to electric mobility.
