With a total budget of VND92 million, the program provides funds for upgrading the school’s library and 20 scholarships for poor students with good learning outcomes. This initiative serves as a significant source of encouragement, not only supporting the teachers and students of Dak Mai School in their teaching and learning endeavors, but also inspiring hope and fostering motivation for the students in this area.
Attending the inauguration ceremony for the upgraded library were Ha Thi Viet Bac, Vice President of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Red Cross Society; Nguyen Thanh Ba, Team Leader at PV GAS Services; Ho Tan Phong, Secretary of the Youth Union Organization of PV GAS Services; Nguyen Viet Thu, Deputy Head of the Bu Gia Map District Education and Training Division; and Vu Ngoc Sinh, Party Cell Secretary and Principal of Dak Mai School.

Established in 2019, Dak Mai Secondary and High School has experienced growth in the number of students and teachers but still faces many challenges in terms of facilities. Notably, the school’s library had deteriorated and lacked essential equipment and learning materials, while the demand for access to knowledge continues to grow.
Aware of this situation through the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Red Cross Society, the Vung Tau Maintenance and Repair Team has raised VND45 million from staff members and VND7 million from the Youth Union chapter, contributing to the total budget of VND82 million for the library’s repair and embellishment. The upgrading work has been completed, providing students with a refreshed, clean, and well-equipped learning space.

As part of the program, the Youth Union chapter of PV GAS Services has awarded 20 scholarships worth VND500,000 each to poor students with good learning outcomes. The team has also presented students at this remote school with textbooks, notebooks, clothing, shoes, sweets, cakes and milk.
Addressing the ceremony, Ha Thi Viet Bac, Vice President of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Red Cross Society, said, “This program is a clear testament to the spirit of mutual support and the profound care of organizations and benefactors for the cause of education. We hope this gift will provide additional motivation for the teachers and students of Dak Mai School to overcome difficulties and achieve greater success in teaching and learning.”
Nguyen Thanh Ba, Team Leader of the Vung Tau Maintenance and Repair Team, expressed his honor in joining hands with the school in its journey to enhance educational quality, “We believe this support will bring students better study conditions and facilitate their access to knowledge. We hope that the teachers and students of Dak Mai School will continue to strive, as students will contribute to building a prosperous homeland.”
Principal Vu Ngoc Sinh expressed deep gratitude and pledged to maintain and utilize the library in the most effective way, creating the best possible conditions for the students to develop comprehensively.
