Speaking at the ceremony, Hua Trung Hieu, Director of the Infant Milk Formula Project (IMF Project Director), emphasized that beyond offering high-quality products managed under strict control processes and a strong sense of social responsibility, DETECHBio is also pioneering customer-centric experiences and benefits. The implementation of product liability insurance is part of the company’s broader goal to further enhance customer service.
Vu Thi Hoa, a distributor from Ngoc Tram (Bac Ninh), shared her experience, noting that while she has long been in the business of distributing mother-and-baby products, this was the first time she had seen a company purchase product liability insurance for nutritional products aimed at pregnant women and infants. She viewed it as a meaningful and distinctive move, adding new value for consumers. Distributors, she said, are excited about DETECHBio’s initiative.
Distributors and retailers visit Modilac milk production facility in France
For many mother-and-baby retailers, this is the first time they have sold a product that comes with liability insurance. This not only boosts confidence in the company behind the product, but also enhances consumer trust in the retailers themselves.
Thai Thi Thanh Tam, Founder of Truong Tho Milk Supermarket, recounted a recent visit, arranged by DETECHBio in June, to the Modilac milk production facility in France. Witnessing the scale of the factory and its production lines firsthand greatly deepened her confidence in the product. Now, with the implementation of product liability insurance, DETECHBio has further elevated customer experience and trust.
Alongside this insurance initiative, DETECHBio has been at the forefront of launching the “See to Believe, Touch to Trust” program, offering factory tours and direct access to production lines and R&D facilities operated by its partners. These tours have allowed dozens of distributors and shop owners across Vietnam to witness the origins of the products they sell.

According to Vu Tam Bach, Deputy CEO of DETECHBio, the company has organized more than ten factory visits across Europe, the United States, and Oceania since 2023. In 2026, DETECHBio plans to continue inviting nationwide distributors and retailers to join the journey.
“‘See to believe, touch to trust’, we want our partners to witness the strict manufacturing procedures, advanced production lines, and world-class research facilities. Through this program, we aim to provide further assurance of the quality and credibility of both DETECHBio and our partners, some of whom have a legacy spanning decades or even centuries”, Vu Tam Bach affirmed.
Food products for mothers and infants are subject to strict regulatory oversight. DETECHBio’s proactive approach, from sourcing and importing to enhancing user experience and value via product liability insurance, marks a pioneering move in Vietnam. This initiative also contributes to the fulfillment of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal 12: “Responsible Consumption and Production” in this decade.
