National Assembly elects three Deputy Prime Ministers

The National Assembly elected three Deputy Prime Ministers at its extraordinary meeting in Ha Noi on August 24.

The newly-elected Deputy Prime Minister are Nguyen Hoa Binh, Chief Judge of the Supreme People's Court; Ho Duc Phuoc, Minister of Finance; Bui Thanh Son, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The current Government is led by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and five Deputy Prime Ministers: Tran Hông Ha, Le Thanh Long, Nguyen Hoa Binh, Ho Duc Phoc and Bui Thanh Son.

On August 21, the Politburo decided to assign Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang new Chairman of the Central Economic Commission.
