On the afternoon of August 26, 2025, Minister of Industry and Trade (MoIT) Nguyen Hong Dien, leading a delegation from the Ministry, conducted an on-site inspection of preparations for the “80 Years of Industry and Trade Advancing with the Nation” exhibition space at the National Exhibition and Fair Center in Hanoi.

This event is part of the Economic and Social Achievements Exhibition commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and Vietnam’s National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), themed “Radiant Vietnam: 80 Years of Independence, Freedom, and Prosperity,” taking place from August 28 to September 5, 2025.

Final preparations completed

After three months of construction and implementation, the Industry and Trade exhibition space has been finalized and is ready for its grand opening on the morning of August 28. The space is organized into five main zones: the ceremonial area; the “80 Years of Glorious History” zone; the “Achievements and Milestones” zone; the “Industry and Trade in the Era of National Ascendance” zone; and the interactive experience zone.

During the inspection, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien commended the design, construction, and meticulous efforts to collect artifacts by the involved units. The exhibition space not only chronicles the remarkable growth of the Industry and Trade sector across various eras but also conveys a powerful message about the aspirations and innovative spirit of Vietnamese entrepreneurs today.

The display features a range of iconic artifacts, publications, and products, including a double-faced clock scale produced by the Pho Yen Mechanical Factory, once widely used in state-run stores and exported to Eastern Europe. The Minister and delegation also toured displays of automobiles, enterprise products, and an interactive electric train model.

A milestone for the industry

Minister Nguyen Hong Dien acknowledged the dedication and efforts of the construction teams in overcoming challenges to meet deadlines. He emphasized that the completion of this exhibition space is a significant milestone, serving as a highlight of the broader exhibition celebrating 80 years of the Industry and Trade sector’s contributions to Vietnam’s development.

The carefully curated display underscores the sector’s pivotal role in national progress, showcasing its achievements while inspiring future growth and innovation.

The “80 Years of Industry and Trade Advancing with the Nation” exhibition space has been designed with a unified theme, adopting the visual identity and colors of Vietnam’s National Brand Program. This approach aims to promote high-quality products and elevate the image of Vietnam both domestically and internationally.
