The exhibition, themed “80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness”, runs from August 28 to September 5 and is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism under the direction of the Government.

As one of the centerpiece events of the anniversary, the exhibition highlights Vietnam’s proud historical journey, patriotism, national pride, and aspiration for development. It also reaffirms the country’s capacity and position on the path of renewal, integration and growth.

This year’s exhibition is the largest ever held, featuring 28 ministries and central agencies, 34 provinces and cities, and more than 110 major enterprises and corporations. Over 230 booths occupy the entire exhibition center, including the Kim Quy Exhibition Hall and outdoor areas across four courtyards.

Nearly 180 industries and sectors are represented, showcasing achievements in fields such as industry, agriculture, trade, investment, culture, science and technology, education, health, environment, traditional crafts, OCOP products, national defense, security, and foreign affairs. Through documents, artifacts, equipment, films and multimedia displays, the exhibition provides a vivid and comprehensive overview of Vietnam’s accomplishments throughout its 80-year journey of independence.

Within the exhibition, the Ministry of Industry and Trade presents the theme “80 Years of Growth Alongside the Nation”. On August 28, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien attended the opening ceremony and toured the exhibition spaces of various ministries, localities, and enterprises.

The Ministry’s exhibition space is divided into five sections: ceremonial area; Industry and Trade - 80 Years of Proud History; Industry and Trade - Achievements and Milestones; Industry and Trade in the Era of National Advancement; and an interactive experience area.

During his visit, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien also explored displays by the Ministry of Public Security, the Vietnam News Agency, and leading enterprises such as Vinamilk, while engaging with delegates and visitors.

With a modern and scientific design, rich content, and advanced presentation technologies including 3D, virtual reality, multimedia and AI, the exhibition offers visitors a comprehensive, engaging, and deeply cultural experience that reflects the nation’s proud history and development.
