From 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on 15 November, the Living Heritage Exhibition will open to the public at Level 3, GEM Center, presenting an immersive showcase of art, calligraphy, and multimedia installations that retrace the life journeys, philosophies, and inspirations of globally influential Vietnamese figures across diverse fields such as medicine, finance, art, and culture.
With an unwavering mission to honor and perpetuate the authentic living values of the Vietnamese people worldwide, GG Corporation introduces the Living Heritage project to Vietnamese people. This initiative serves as a profound bridge connecting the lived experiences, intellectual insights, and deep humanistic perspectives of previous generations, ensuring their continuity and transmission to those yet to come.

The project will unfold as a multifaceted digital and cultural platform, comprising the website (www.livingheritage.vn), an annual digital publication series titled “Living Heritage”, and annual international-caliber artistic events.
The upcoming event will also mark the launch of the Living Heritage Foundation, dedicated to supporting and advancing initiatives in culture, education, and healthcare. Its first program, organized in collaboration with Thanh Nien Newspaper, is the Nguyen Thai Binh Scholarship for Flood-Affected Students, providing 500 million VND in financial aid to help students in Central Vietnam rebuild their lives after natural disasters. In addition, a series of art and heritage development initiatives will be announced at the exhibition’s opening press conference, furthering the Foundation’s mission to foster creativity and safeguard Vietnam’s cultural legacy.
The exhibition also marks the debut of “The Universal Within - Vu tru cua TAM” (Volume I) the inaugural edition of GG Corporation’s annual e-book series. This publication features ten distinguished Vietnamese figures from around the world, representing the intellect, resilience, and creative spirit of the Vietnamese people. It portrays their journeys of inner discovery, where compassion, mindfulness, and emotional intelligence form the foundation for lasting success and happiness. Among the personalities featured in this first edition are: Assoc. Prof. PhD Doctor Phan Toan Thang, Sir Niels Lan Doky (Do Ky Lan), and Madame Nguyen Thi Xuan Phuong.
Assoc. Prof. PhD Doctor Phan Toan Thang is a globally recognized scientist in regenerative medicine, known as the first to develop the technology for extracting stem cells from the umbilical cord membrane, with patents granted in over 80 countries. Widely known as “the scientist who turns trash into gold,” he transforms discarded materials into scientific breakthroughs that serve humanity.
Sir Niels Lan Doky (Do Ky Lan), the world-renowned Vietnamese-Danish “Knight of Jazz”, knighted by Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark for his outstanding contributions to international music. With over 46 albums and hundreds of performances at prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and Carnegie Hall, he epitomizes the spirit of creative freedom and artistic excellence.
Madame Nguyen Thi Xuan Phuong is a filmmaker, war correspondent, painter, and author, aged 96, a living embodiment of being “young at heart”. With nearly eight decades of dedication, she continues to create and inspire through her energy, compassion, and unwavering love for life. She was awarded the Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur by France (2011) and named among the BBC 100 Women of the Year in 2024.
A special highlight of this year’s exhibition is a treasured calligraphy piece by the late Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, inscribed with the two Chinese characters “An Tru” (Peaceful Presence). This serene expression of mindfulness and inner stillness perfectly embodies the spirit of Living Heritage. The piece, from the private collection of Ngô Art Gallery, will be displayed publicly for the first time as a reminder of the power of tranquility and the enduring value of mindfulness in contemporary life.
Visitors will also experience live music performed on the legendary C. Bechstein piano, along with the “The Universal Within” Aromatherapy Collection and the “Living Heritage” Lifestyle Series, creative works that unite art, philosophy, and the modern wellbeing spirit. The exhibition is open free of charge, inviting the public to reflect upon and share in the timeless values of Vietnamese heritage.
