Ha Tinh alocates significant funding for local industrial promotion

The Ha Tinh Provincial People’s Committee has allocated VND 1.8 billion for the 2025 local industrial promotion program, prioritizing support for initiatives that have immediate and direct impacts on rural industrial establishments.

VND 1.8 Billion allocated

According to the 2025 local industrial promotion plan approved by the provincial authorities, the funding—sourced from the provincial Department of Industry and Trade’s operational budget—totals VND 1.8 billion.

A representative of the Ha Tinh Department of Industry and Trade stated that the funding will prioritize support for developing 1–2 technical demonstration models in industrial and handicraft production; 2–4 projects applying advanced machinery and equipment in industrial and handicraft production; and the formulation of detailed planning for 1–2 industrial clusters.

Other planned activities include training and capacity-building programs for business management and entrepreneurship; organizing the 2025 provincial-level Outstanding Rural Industrial Product Awards; supporting participation in the 2025 national-level awards; and assisting in the development and registration of branding for rural industrial products.

As in previous years, the local industrial promotion program aims to encourage and support rural industrial establishments to expand production, apply modern technology, and enhance productivity and product quality. The program also helps mobilize diverse investment resources, promote sustainable development, and improve market access and competitiveness.

The Ha Tinh Provincial People’s Committee emphasized that the use of industrial promotion funding must target the right beneficiaries, ensure effectiveness, and deliver practical results. Supported projects should have broad spillover effects, contributing to the province’s overall industrial and handicraft development.

Boosting rural industrial enterprises

The industrial promotion program has been widely recognized by rural industrial establishments in Ha Tinh as a valuable companion and driving force in production. Every year, the province allocates substantial resources to this initiative.

According to Truong Van Thuan, Director of the Ha Tinh Center for Trade Promotion and Industrial Promotion, the funding for 2023 and 2024 was also VND 1.8 billion annually. “The province’s industrial promotion policies have effectively empowered rural industrial establishments to invest in production, apply advanced machinery, and improve productivity, quality, and competitiveness. The annual product awards program has also identified and honored high-value products with development potential. At the same time, industrial promotion creates opportunities for local producers to showcase their products at trade promotion events, expanding market reach and contributing to the growth of rural industry in the province,” said Thuan.

In 2023, with a support package of VND 300 million from the local promotion budget, Nhat HT Printing and Advertising Co., Ltd. (Ha Tinh City) invested in advanced machinery for design, printing, and production of brand identity systems, packaging, labels, and advertising materials.

Phan Anh Nhat, Director of the company, shared that with the support, they were able to invest around VND 1.4 billion in specialized equipment. In the first half of 2024, the company continued investing an additional VND 300 million in new printing machines. “The industrial promotion project provided critical funding for modern equipment, helping us boost labor productivity and improve product competitiveness,” said Nhat.

Similarly, Sao Mai Joint Stock Company (Cam Xuyen District), which operates in the packaging manufacturing and export sector, received VND 300 million through a 2023 promotion project to invest in advanced machinery. A company representative noted that such programs are vital in providing additional capital and motivating businesses to invest in production improvements. The company is continuing to invest in automatic sewing and printing machines to streamline processes, minimize labor fluctuations, and deliver higher-quality products to the market.

Clearly, industrial promotion activities have become a key driver for strengthening rural industrial enterprises. These initiatives also lay the groundwork for digital transformation and sustainable growth in Ha Tinh’s rural industry sector.

For three consecutive years 2023, 2024, and 2025, Ha Tinh Provincial People’s Committee has allocated VND 1.8 billion annually for local industrial promotion. This considerable funding has played an important role in helping rural enterprises enhance production capacity and product quality.
