Dong Nai leaders hold dialogue with FDI enterprises

The People's Committee of Dong Nai province on March 28 held a meeting with more than 350 foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises, foreign business associations and industrial infrastructure firms operating in the province.

At the event, businesses raised concerns related to value-added tax refunds, increased land rental costs, reduced LNG supply, labour shortages, the issuance of construction ownership certificates, and environmental hygiene and traffic safety on roads within industrial zones.

Speaking at the dialogue, Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee said that the meeting provided an opportunity for local authorities to share information, and understand specific difficulties, thus better supporting businesses

FDI enterprises with outstanding achievements and contributions to the locality in the 2023-2024 period awarded at the event

He emphasised that the FDI business community is an important part with great contributions to the provincial economic development.

Therefore, Dong Nai province has always paid great attention to improving the investment environment to attract more FDI enterprises and facilitate their operation, he stated.

To date, Dong Nai has over 1,700 valid FDI projects with total registered capital of nearly 36 billion USD from 46 countries and territories.

On this occasion, the provincial People's Committee province awarded certificates of merit to five FDI enterprises with outstanding achievements and contributions to the locality in the 2023-2024 period.
