Pioneer in implementing tasks

In the context of integration, industrialization, and modernization, and greatly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Vinacomin-Mao Khe Coal Company has always been striving to successfully complete the targets according to plans. These achieved results were attributed to the important contributions of the company’s Youth Union members and youths.

With the close directions of the company's Party Committee and Board of Directors, the Youth Union has always shown its role, functions, and tasks, especially in emulation movements, and social security activities.

In the first nine months of 2023, the Youth Union of Vinacomin-Mao Khe Coal Company organized practical activities such as planting more than 1,000 trees in spring with the participation of 70 Youth Union members; launching the provincial youth volunteer summer campaign in 2023; signing joint resolutions on occupational safety and health; holding dialogues between leaders and outstanding Youth Union members; carrying out industrial cleaning in response to the Green Sunday 2023, and more.

Notably, during this period, the company's Youth Union Organization implemented a number of important works including repairing and replacing the C1 conveyor system in Transport Workshop 2; installing the ZHF-1600/16/24 mobile hydraulic frame rack at workshop 6; at the same time directing Youth Union chapters to participate in 100 youth projects.

Active participation in social, security activities

In addition to youth movements, Mao Khe Coal youths also took care of the children and teenagers of the staff like presenting gifts and visiting children in difficult circumstances on special occasions, organizing summer activities for children and teenagers in Mao Khe ward; and more.

Specifically, during nine months of 2023, the Youth Union of Mao Khe Coal Company presented gifts to 124 children worth nearly VND45 million; visited and handed gifts to 11 Youth Union members in difficult circumstances and those who had labor accidents on the occasion of the Lunar New Year worth VND16.5 million; organized the 2023 Miner Families Gala program and the Full Moon Festival for the children of the company's staff and for others in the locality; presented 50 gifts on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival worth VND35 million; awarded study promotion funds to 151 children of the company's staff who obtained excellent achievements in the 2022-2023 school year totaling more than VND125 million; coordinated with the company’s Trade Union to give gifts to 1,208 students who won excellent titles in the 2022-2023 school year worth more than VND241 million, and more.
