As part of its mission to foster a strong, united Vietnamese business community and contribute to the development of the country’s automotive industry, VinFast will host the "Conference on Enhancing Localisation and Supplier Development for VinFast" on June 9 in Hanoi. The event promises a range of attractive opportunities and commitments for local businesses.

VinFast is currently partnering with nearly 700 domestic enterprises to supply components, materials, and equipment for its manufacturing operations. |
At the event, VinFast is expected to share its detailed plan to reach an 80% localisation rate by 2026, along with an expansion strategy for its supplier network. This is in line with the company’s ambition to ramp up production capacity to one million vehicles per year for both domestic and export markets.
VinFast plans to directly sign contracts with capable Vietnamese firms that meet the technical and technological requirements to join its supply chain. For those lacking in expertise, technology, or financial capacity, the company will proactively facilitate partnerships with foreign entities to form joint ventures. These collaborations will enable technology transfer, technical support, or capital investment.
Crucially, VinFast has pledged to commit to purchasing the output of these suppliers under agreed plans, providing a stable foundation for long-term development.
Currently, VinFast is working with nearly 700 domestic companies to supply components, materials, and equipment for its operations. However, to meet the ambitious target of producing one million vehicles annually, the company aims to comprehensively and deeply develop its local supplier network on a national scale.
Commenting on the strategy, Thai Thi Thanh Hai, Vice Chairwoman of Vingroup and Deputy CEO of VinFast, stated: “We believe that the aspiration to build a globally competitive Vietnamese brand is not only VinFast’s dream but also the shared desire of many Vietnamese enterprises. This is why we have developed a collaborative strategy to create development opportunities for local supporting industries, and to unite efforts in advancing the national automotive industry.”
As the leading automotive brand in Vietnam, VinFast delivered 9,588 electric vehicles in April 2025, bringing its year-to-date sales to 44,691 units. The company continues to maintain its position as the market leader in domestic automotive sales.
With its pioneering vision and sustainable growth strategy, VinFast is not only shaping a modern electric vehicle ecosystem but also spearheading the development of a nationally significant supporting industry ecosystem.
