On June 4, General Secretary To Lam and President Luong Cuong extended their congratulations to Lee Jae Myung on his election as the 21st President of the Republic of Korea.

In their messages, General Secretary To Lam and President Luong Cuong expressed confidence that under President Lee’s leadership, marked by his credibility, strategic vision, and political acumen, the Republic of Korea will continue to grow strongly and achieve even greater accomplishments, further affirming its international role and standing.

The Vietnamese leaders affirmed their readiness to work closely with President Lee and the Republic of Korea to further advance the two countries’ relations in a more substantive, effective, and comprehensive manner, for the benefit of both peoples and for peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the region and the world.

On the same day, Permanent Member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu also sent a congratulatory message to Park Chan Dae, Acting Chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea.
