Vietnamese enterprises in Poland confident in Vietnam’s economic outlook

The Vietnamese business association in Poland remains optimistic about Vietnam’s economic growth trajectory.

Among the nearly 30,000 Vietnamese expatriates residing in Poland, Vietnamese-owned enterprises are regarded as the community’s outstanding representatives. They lead the way in market pioneering, creating employment for fellow countrymen, sponsoring community activities, participating in charity work, and contributing to the local budgets where they reside.

In recent years, Vietnam’s robust economic development has unlocked potential opportunities for Vietnamese businesses in Poland to leverage their role as a bridge between two economies boasting some of the region's highest growth rates. Several Vietnamese enterprises have established reputable wholesale and retail trade centers in Poland, alongside developing branded online distribution channels for apparel, footwear, and food products.

However, the majority of these businesses still operate under a family management model and have not yet proactively adopted digital transformation technologies in management and operations to elevate their business performance. Identifying themselves as an integral component of the Polish economy, Vietnamese enterprises need to formulate long-term strategies to build their brands and establish their market position. This was a topic of significant interest and focused discussion among delegates when formulating the action plan for the Association’s Executive Committee for the fifth term (2025 - 2028).

Enterprises have expressed excitement and optimism regarding the administrative reforms and economic development plans currently being promoted by the Party and State. They expressed confidence that the 14th National Party Congress will set forth breakthrough policies to propel the country into a new development phase, opening up more opportunities for businesses to connect with the domestic economy.

To enhance the capacity and standing of Vietnamese businesses in Poland, the Association has proposed several key solutions. Active enterprises will promote digital transformation and apply standard financial management processes. Priority will be given to supporting startups founded by the community’s younger generation, particularly in the technology sector. In this regard, the Business Association will serve as a connecting forum between startup projects and investors.
