On the morning of April 8, continuing its First Session, the 16th National Assembly voted to adopt a resolution approving the Prime Minister’s proposal on the appointment of ministers and other members of the Government for the 2026 - 2031 tenure.
A total of 481 deputies took part in the vote, with all 481 voting in favor, representing 100 percent of those present and 96.20 percent of the total number of National Assembly deputies.
Accordingly, the 16th National Assembly officially approved Le Manh Hung, a member of the Party Central Committee and Acting Minister of Industry and Trade, to assume the position of Minister of Industry and Trade for the 2026 - 2031 term.
