On June 12, 2026, Minister of Industry and Trade Le Manh Hung, together with leaders of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, co-chaired a working session with agencies and units under the three ministries to discuss and coordinate solutions aimed at removing obstacles and creating favorable conditions for production and export activities.

Overview of the meeting.
The meeting was held to implement the tasks and objectives outlined in Conclusion No. 18-KL/TW, issued on April 2, 2026, following the Second Plenum of the 14th Party Central Committee on the socio-economic development plan, national financial strategy, public debt management, and the 2026-2030 medium-term public investment plan. The conclusion is linked to the goal of achieving double-digit economic growth. The meeting also served to carry out Resolution No. 148/NQ-CP, adopted at the Government’s regular meeting for May 2026 on June 6, 2026, with a focus on coordinating measures to achieve double-digit export growth in 2026.
During the session, representatives of agencies and units from the three ministries reviewed the export performance of key commodity groups, assessed challenges facing businesses, and discussed measures to enhance competitiveness, manage the trade balance, and promote export growth in the coming period.
Key topics of discussion included ensuring resources for production and sectoral development; improving mechanisms and policies related to standards, technical regulations, and product traceability; addressing bottlenecks in taxation, finance, logistics, and export-supporting infrastructure; reforming administrative procedures to reduce compliance costs and processing times for businesses; and strengthening market access efforts, trade promotion activities, forecasting, and early-warning mechanisms regarding policy changes in export markets.
The ministries also agreed to further strengthen close cooperation in policy formulation and improvement, prevent regulatory overlaps, enhance information and data sharing, and promptly address emerging difficulties and challenges. These efforts are intended to support effective state management and import-export governance in line with current global trade dynamics and structures.
