Chile is one of South America's most dynamic economies and is accelerating investment in infrastructure, energy, and industrial development, particularly in renewable energy, power transmission, energy storage, and mining. At the same time, the country is actively advancing the electrification of its transportation sector by promoting the adoption of electric vehicles and expanding its nationwide EV charging infrastructure. These developments are driving increasing demand for energy equipment, industrial electrical machinery, power transmission and distribution systems, creating significant opportunities for Vietnamese businesses.

Against the backdrop of the implementation of both the Vietnam - Chile Free Trade Agreement (VCFTA) and the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) by Vietnam and Chile, and with the aim of supporting Vietnamese enterprises in accessing the Chilean market, identifying business partners, and expanding commercial cooperation, the Embassy of Vietnam in Chile will organize the Vietnam - Chile Trade and Investment Promotion and Business Matching Seminar on Energy Equipment and Industrial Electrical Machinery.

The seminar will provide participants with up-to-date information on the Chilean market, import demand, and cooperation opportunities in the fields of energy equipment and industrial electrical machinery. It will also offer Vietnamese enterprises an opportunity to showcase their capabilities, products, and technological solutions to Chilean partners through an online platform, exchange business interests, and explore potential cooperation opportunities.

As part of the seminar, a Business-to-Business (B2B) Matching Program will be held, featuring pre-arranged virtual meetings based on participating companies' business interests. This program will enable Vietnamese enterprises to engage directly with Chilean importers, distributors, and prospective business partners, introduce their products and solutions, identify collaboration opportunities, and expand their business networks in Chile as well as across the South American market.
