Following directions from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Newspaper of Industry and Trade has announced the plan to organise the Vietnam Industry, Trade and Services Award ceremony.
Honouring Top 30 outstanding enterprises, Top 100 exemplary enterprises
Following directions from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, on the afternoon of May 15 in Hanoi, the Newspaper of Industry and Trade, in coordination with relevant units, announced a series of three major events, including the plan for organising the honouring ceremony and the Vietnam Industry, Trade and Services Award.
The announcement ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, along with representatives from ministries, sectors, localities, associations and enterprises.

Earlier, on May 13, 2026, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No.1114/QD-BCT approving the plan for organising the Vietnam Industry, Trade and Services Award ceremony, as well as Decision No.1115/QD-BCT promulgating the award regulations.
The Vietnam Industry, Trade and Services Award, assigned by the ministry’s leadership to be chaired by the Newspaper of Industry and Trade, inherits the nearly 20-year legacy of the Vietnam Top Trade Services Awards, first organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, formerly the Ministry of Trade, in 2007, immediately after Vietnam officially joined the World Trade Organization (WTO).
Through seven successful editions, the award has built prestige and gained significant recognition within the business community in the industry and trade sector, affirming its role as a platform for connection, promotion and recognition of the positive values contributed by Vietnamese enterprises.
Building on the award’s achievements, prestige and brand value, and marking the 20th anniversary of Vietnam’s accession to the WTO, the Newspaper of Industry and Trade proposed continuing the organisation of the award ceremony under a new name: the Vietnam Industry, Trade and Services Award, in line with the functions and responsibilities of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the new period.
The award also aims to affirm the leading role of the industry and trade sector in promoting economic growth and export turnover growth, while encouraging enterprises to apply high technologies, automation in production and digitalisation in services. It also seeks to orient businesses towards the green economy and circular economy in order to meet the stringent standards of new-generation free trade agreements, while supporting enterprises in promoting their brands through the ministry’s communication channels, thereby enhancing credibility with international partners and strengthening domestic consumer confidence.
Returning after a decade, the Vietnam Industry, Trade and Services Award is expected to continue accompanying the business community in a new development stage. The award aims to select and honour enterprises that have made positive contributions to the fields of industry, trade and services, as well as to the overall development of the industry and trade sector and the national economy. It is also an opportunity to recognise enterprises’ efforts in innovation, creativity and overcoming difficulties to maintain the domestic market and expand international business operations amid increasingly deep international integration.
Accordingly, the award aims to honour the Top 30 outstanding enterprises and Top 100 exemplary enterprises with remarkable contributions to the fields of industry, trade and services.
Public and transparent selection criteria
At the announcement ceremony for the Vietnam Industry, Trade and Services Award, Nguyen Van Minh, Editor-in-Chief of the Newspaper of Industry and Trade, said the award’s return after 10 years marked a new stage of development.
He noted that while the previous award focused solely on trade and services, the renewed award now carries a broader scope following the merger of the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Industry, encompassing three pillars: industry, trade and services.

According to Nguyen Van Minh, the Vietnam Industry, Trade and Services Award is one of the key awards of the industry and trade sector and represents the culmination of more than 20 years since Vietnam joined the WTO.
With such significance, the Editor-in-Chief said the award would be organised in a serious, safe, public and transparent manner, with the highest goal of contributing to double-digit economic growth and the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress.
In particular, during the organisation process, “we are also deeply aware that the award must inspire the will, aspirations, self-reliance and resilience of the business community and every Vietnamese citizen,” Nguyen Van Minh stressed.
Regarding selection criteria, the Vietnam Industry, Trade and Services Award will not only be based on scale or revenue, but will also prioritise innovation, technology application, digital transformation, green development and the capacity to meet international integration standards.
With extensive experience in organising communication activities and large-scale events in a professional and methodical manner, the Newspaper of Industry and Trade has developed a detailed implementation plan for the award while closely coordinating with the Department of Organisation and Personnel under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and relevant professional units to ensure the organisation process fully complies with regulations and remains objective and transparent.
Notably, enterprises’ success stories will be featured in the “Vietnam Industry, Trade and Services” Golden Book publication. In addition, corporate brands will be promoted across the specialised sections and platforms of the Newspaper of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s electronic portal and digital platforms.
The Vietnam Industry, Trade and Services Award is not only an honouring activity, but also demonstrates the companionship of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Newspaper of Industry and Trade with the business community. It recognises enterprises’ contributions to the sector’s development while creating further motivation for businesses to continue advancing in the new development stage.
The 2026 Vietnam Industry, Trade and Services Award ceremony is expected to be held in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The award structure for 2026 will include the announcement of the Top 30 outstanding Vietnam Industry, Trade and Services enterprises and the Top 100 exemplary Vietnam Industry, Trade and Services enterprises.
The award ceremony will be broadcast live on national television. The “Vietnam Industry, Trade and Services” Golden Book publication is scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2026. Dedicated sections, specialised pages and digital platforms for the award will also be developed, alongside communication and promotional events on mass media platforms.
