Taste of Australia program launched in MM Mega Market Vietnam

The “Taste of Australia” program has opened in MM Mega Market Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) from December 7-20, 2023.

Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) in cooperation with MM Mega Market Vietnam (MMVN) kicked off the “Taste of Australia 2023” retail promotion program, showcasing Australian cuisine and premium foods and beverages to Vietnamese consumers.

Taste of Australia is an annual event led by the Australian Government since 2017. This marks the fourth year that Austrade has cooperated with MMVN to deliver the campaign, highlighting variety of premium Australian products to Vietnam market.

The promotion program has taken place at the MMVN's distribution center nationwide, from December 7-20.

During this period, MMVN introduces hundreds of high-quality foods and beverages from Australia, including beef, lamb, juices, yogurt, etc. This is seen as a good opportunity for Vietnamese consumers to purchase Australian products with discounts of up to 20%. Especially, customers shopping at MMVN on the weekends can participate in the fascinating food samplings and cooking demonstrations hosted by MMVN’s professional chefs.

Nguyen Duc Toan, Commercial Director of MMVN, said: "MM Mega Market Vietnam constantly strives to collaborate with the Austrade, bringing diverse and high-quality imported food and beverages. We believe that Taste of Australia will inspire Vietnamese consumers to more comprehensively explore the long-lasting Australian culinary tradition."
