Director of PVOIL Hai Phong Nguyen Trung Huu said in 2023, despite fluctuations in the market, the company’s Board of Directors with their proactive management and along with the responsibility and solidarity of all employees have completed and exceeded the assigned plans and targets.

Specifically, in 2023, the company’s trading volume of petroleum of all types reached 350.6 thousand cu.m, equivalent to 170 percent of the plan, earning a revenue of VND5.978 trillion - 196 percent of the plan, pre-tax profit of VND11.01 billion - 147 percent of the plan, and state budget payment of VND415.95 billion.

The company also opened eight more petrol stations, expanding its presence in assigned areas with a total of 34 stations.

In addition to production and business development, PVOIL Hai Phong also pays great attention to taking good care of employees’ lives, building corporate culture, and creating a professional, democratic and open working environment.

The company’s Trade Union Organization has also organized various activities, such as spring trip and sports activities and cultural performances to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the establishment of Petrovietnam Oil Corporation - JSC, organized a Gala to review the nine-month production and business performance, and celebrated employees’ birthdays.

On the other hand, the company always take timely care of the material and spiritual life of workers. The company’s Trade Union Organization has also received financial support from the local authorities in organizing sports festivals and other activities.

In 2023, the company participated in the 2023 Lunar New Year Social Security Program with a value of VND50 million, donated more than VND76.8 million to the PVOIL One Heart Fund, more than VND56.4 million to the Petroleum Assistance Fund, and VND63 million to the Fund for the young generation and comradeship.

This year, the company is expected to open four additional petrol stations, striving to complete and exceed trading volumes assigned by the Petrovietnam Oil Corporation – JSC of 345,000 cu.m/tonnes, revenue of nearly VND5.189 trillion and pre-tax profit of VND8 billion.

Furthermore, the company will improve the customer service quality at petroleum stations, apply advanced management solutions, and new business models like PVOIL Easy, PVOIL Mobile... to help improve the efficiency of petroleum business, especially through the retail channel, in the context of market discount competition.
