Having the right digitalization strategy will help companies in reducing costs while optimizing efficient use of resources

Most rural industrial enterprises are small and medium in size, with limited financial and human resources, requiring support from industry promotion programs and other projects to succeed in digital transformation.

The Industrial Promotion Center Region 1 (IPC1) provides guidelines for rural industrial enterprises to implement digitalization in production and trading activities. In 2022, the center offered two workshops on digital transformation for employees of provincial departments of industry and trade, industry promotion centers, and rural industrial enterprises in the northern provinces of Nam Dinh, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, and Ninh Binh.

Last year, the center also offered two other digitalization workshops specifically for rural industrial establishments, providing them with information about digital transformation in businesses. The workshops helped raise enterprises’ awareness of digital technology benefits and take advantage of digitalization opportunities, and discussed digital transformation challenges. Workshop participants were provided with a digitized database, including data about rural industrial facilities and key rural industrial products, which can be used to promote sales online, including on domestic and foreign digital platforms.

IPC1 will continue to make digital transformation plans and help rural industrial enterprises move into the 21st century. The center has set a goal for the digital transformation of each production and trading establishment, and each individual citizen in order to accelerate the country’s modernization.
