The Party General Secretary proposed focusing on consolidating key foundations of bilateral relations: continuously strengthening political trust and strategic coordination; leveraging the special role of party-to-party cooperation and enhancing the effectiveness of mechanisms across channels and levels; promoting higher-level economic integration; ensuring that trade develops in a balanced and sustainable manner; fostering closer cooperation in science and technology, particularly in emerging strategic fields, and enhancing high-quality human resource training; consolidating a solid social foundation, improving cooperation in culture and tourism, and intensifying education and communication on Vietnam-China friendship. He also called for both sides to maintain a peaceful and stable environment to support joint development.

Expressing appreciation and endorsing the deep directives of Party General Secretary To Lam, Li Shulei affirmed that China always regards Vietnam as a priority in its neighborly diplomacy. Li Shulei stressed that China’s theoretical and publicity agencies will continue close coordination with their Vietnamese counterparts, further promoting exchanges, cooperation, and experience sharing in party building and national governance, strengthening friendship education, and consolidating a strong social foundation. These efforts aim to enrich the content of the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation Partnership and the Vietnam-China community with a shared future of strategic significance.

At the meeting, Li Shulei congratulated Vietnam on its significant development achievements and the smooth implementation of major reform measures under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, headed by Party General Secretary To Lam.
